Jaguars Expected to Franchise Tag Engram

The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to place the franchise tag on tight end Evan Engram per Adam Schefter. The tight-end franchise tag is set at $11.345 million. Engram spent his first five years with the New York Giants before signing a one-year deal in free agency last year with the Jaguars, where he would set a personal best in catches (73) and receiving yards (766). He also grabbed four touchdowns.

If Engram does return, the Jaguars will also have wideouts, Christian Kirk and Zay Jones. They also hope Calvin Ridley will be reinstated from his one-year suspension for gambling.

Engram and the Jaguars now have until July 15 to make a deal.

Jaguars will be scary if Ridley is anything near where is was before suspension.
