Jeudy, Sutton Staying Put

Denver Bronco wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton have been linked to trade rumors over the offseason. It was reported that Denver would be seeking a first-round pick for Jeudy or a high second-round pick plus a player.

New Broncos head coach Sean Payton said on Sunday, Mar. 26 that “we’re not trading those two players,” per Ian Rapoport.

Drafted No. 15 in the 2020 draft, Jeudy has his best season last year. He caught 67 passes for 972 yards and grabbed six touchdowns. Sutton tallied 829 yards in 2022, his highest since 2019 (1,112).

Payton was brought in after an underwhelming offensive perfomance by the Broncos in 2022 with Russell Wilson at quarterback. The Broncos finished with a record of 5-12 and averaged just under 17 points per game.
