The Minnesota Timberwolves sent center Rudy Gobert home midgame against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday after throwing a punch at teammate Kyle Anderson during a timeout. The incident occured with just over four minutes remaining in the second quarter.

The Timberwolves announced Gobert would not return against the Pelicans. Anderson started in place of Gobert for the remainder of the game.

Forward Jaden McDaniels suffered a fractured hand against the Pelicans, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

McDaniels was seen punching a wall on his way to the locker room at halftime. He was then ruled out for the remainder of the game.
