BREAKING: Jets Trade for Rodgers

After weeks of talking, the New York Jets have traded for quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, per Adam Schefter.

The Jets will receive Rodgers, pick No. 15, and a 2023 fifth-round pick (No. 170).

The Packers will receive in return, pick No. 13, a 2023 second-round pick (No. 42), a sixth-round pick (No. 207), and a conditional 2024 second-round pick that can turn into a first-round pick if Rodgers plays 65% of the plays.

Rodgers will wear No. 8 as a member of the Jets, despite former Jets quarterback Joe Namath granting him permission to wear his legendary No. 12. Rodgers wore 8 in his college days at California.

With Rodgers out, Jordan Love is set to start at quarterback for the Packers.
