Eagles Trade for Swift

The Philadelphia Eagles have traded for RB D’andre Swift of the Detroit Lions in exchange for draft compensation, per Adam Schefter. After the Lions drafted RB Jahmyr Gibbs in the first round, it was expected for Swift to be on his way out.

Eagles get Swift, and a seventh-round pick (No. 249). Lions get a 2025 fourth-round pick, and a seventh-round pick (No. 219).

Swift is from Philadelphia and went to high school at St. Joseph’s Prep before attending Georgia.
